Now in its 29th year, the Virgil L. Strickler Youth Reserve Scholarship program has awarded more than $5.2 million to over 46,000 young exhibitors since its founding in 1996. Renamed in honor of longtime Ohio State Fair General Manager Virgil L. Strickler in 2023, the program continues to grow, now offering 25 scholarships and endowments
