P.E.O is a Philanthropic Education Organization and Chapter S is so pleased to have Vaylee Olack as our second recipient of the Star Scholarship. It is a highly competitive one-time scholarship recognizing women in their final year of high school who demonstrate outstanding leadership, community service, academic achievement, and extracurricular activities and plan to pursue full or part-time post-secondary education in the U.S. or Canada beginning in the fall following high school graduation. Vaylee will attend Shenandoah University in the fall, majoring in nursing and then plans to attend optometry school. To find out more about P.E.O. and their advancement of women through scholarships, grants, awards and loans visit peointernational.org.
