MAUMELLE (KATV) — The One Korean Scholarship Foundation hosted its Annual Scholarship Banquet on Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Maumelle Event Center.
The banquet is hosted every year to award scholarships to graduating high school seniors and college students eager to further their education.
Since the inception of the scholarship banquet in 2017, One Korean has awarded 147 scholarships to students totaling $147,000.
This year, One Korean offered $1,000 in scholarships to be awarded to 30 students.
Among the recipients are also a police officer, a firefighter, a National Guardsman and select veterans who continue to support local Korean schools.
