The “Partners in Education” program, a local organization comprised of dedicated educators and individuals passionate about supporting education in our communities, is proud to announce this year’s scholarship recipients! Partners in Education meets monthly and organizes fundraisers to support scholarships and other educational and community service initiatives.
These scholarships, valued at $500 each, are awarded annually to celebrate the outstanding achievements of students in local high schools. To qualify, students must be planning a career in education and must attend a Holt County school or reside in Holt County. The recipients have not only excelled academically but have also demonstrated community involvement, reflecting the core values of the program.

Ashley Sidak—O’Neill High, daughter of Curt and Sarah Sidak.
Communication Sciences and Disorders will be Ashley’s course of study at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.

Dawson Heiser—Stuart High School, son of Galen and Tammy Heiser.
Dawson will be attending the University of Nebraska at Kearney and majoring in grades 7-12 social sciences.

Aubrey Parker—Summerland High School, daughter of Daniel and Nicole Parker.
Aubrey plans to study elementary education at Wayne State College.

Kendall Parks—St. Mary’s High School, daughter of Ryan and Amber Parks.
Kendall will pursue a degree in speech pathology at Northeast Community College in Norfolk.
