In response to the Russian military invasion of Ukraine, on April 6, 2022, the province announced a $1.9 million Ontario-Ukraine Solidarity Scholarship to support students attending Ontario’s publicly-assisted colleges and universities.
A $10,000 scholarship will be awarded to individual students through Laurier based on merit and financial need in the 2023-2024 academic year
The scholarship will prioritize students impacted by the conflict in Ukraine, followed by students impacted by other conflicts.
To be considered for the Ontario-Ukraine Solidarity Scholarship you must meet the following criteria:
After you start your application, you can review and make changes to your submissions up until the deadline. View your submissions by selecting the “View my Applications” tab. Make sure the application shows as “submitted.”
Once the deadline has passed, your profile will show the status of “EXPIRED.”
