Lucas Ortiz, a technician at The Faricy Boys Automotive for more than a year, has been awarded a $2,500 tool allowance scholarship from the Clear the Air Foundation.
In an April 15 press release, Ortiz said, “This opportunity will accelerate my career trajectory as an automotive technician and help me meet my goals. This tools scholarship means I can get the job done quickly, efficiently and currently with my own personal set of tools.”
Ortiz joins previous technicians who have received more than $30,000 in scholarships for tools and tuition since 2019.
