Otter Tail County Sheriff Barry Fitzgibbons
Fergus Falls, MN – Otter Tail County Sheriff Barry Fitzgibbons has announced the commencement of the Law Enforcement Scholarship Program for 2025.
Sheriff Fitzgibbons says the MSA Board of Directors has established a scholarship fund for the awarding of up to 18 – $2,000 scholarships for this year. The MSA gives special recognition to the financial needs of students attending the peace officer skills course or one of the two or four-year law enforcement degree programs around the state.
Sheriff Fitzgibbons says this scholarship allows Sheriff’s the opportunity to identify future law enforcement professionals and support the financial needs of their education.
The scholarship deadline is November 28, 2025. Application forms and a statement of procedures are available at the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.
