TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – World Class Schools of Leon County held its annual Best and Brightest Awards Ceremony, awarding scholarships to high school graduates who have gone above and beyond in the classroom.
The 20th Anniversary of the Best and Brightest Awards Ceremony committee selected 139 seniors from public and private high schools as the finalists across 15 categories.
The winners in each category received a $1,500 scholarship and a trophy. Runner-ups and honorable mentions received $750 and $500 scholarships and trophies.
Since its inception, it has greatly expanded, awarding 80 students in its inaugural year.
