(WTAJ) — The Community Foundation for the Alleghenies (CFA) has announced that there are over 300 scholarships available for high school seniors in multiple counties.
The foundation has 96 scholarships available for students in Somerset, Bedford, Cambria and Indiana County, but also houses over 200 more school-selected opportunities. Scholarships are available for students enrolled in or headed to a college, university, or trade school. The deadline to apply for the scholarships is March 7.

You can out more about scholarships and how to apply on the CFA website. According to their website, they list other scholarships available in Armstrong, Blair, Clearfield, Jefferson and Westmoreland County.
“We are pleased to help students find scholarships that align with their aspirations, while also helping our donors support a cause that they are passionate about,” CFA President and Executive Director Mike Kane said. “It is a priority for us, and for our donors, to ensure that all available scholarships funds are utilized, which is why our team works hard to inform students about the opportunities that are available.”
In the fiscal year 2024, CFA awarded a total of $892,780 in scholarships.
