The Kansas Independent College Foundation recently announced the recipients of the 2024 Maud Wyatt Recognition scholarships. The scholarships are given annually to full-time, degree-seeking college students on the cusp of graduation who have demonstrated excellence in academics, character and integrity – including maintaining a 3.5 GPA or above.
Derby’s Paige Schroeder (Manhattan Christian College, 3.53 GPA) and Niki Wood (Benedictine College, 3.94 GPA)  were each chosen to receive a nearly $1,500 scholarship.
