The Paulding County Retired Teachers Association recently awarded $750 in scholarships to three Paulding County high school seniors planning to enter the field of education. Aiden Lichty and Caroline Rohrs each received a $300 scholarship and Ava Stoller received a $150 scholarship.
Aiden Lichty, the son of Brian and Aimee Lichty, graduated from Antwerp High School. He plans to attend Northwest State Community College and Purdue Fort Wayne where he will pursue an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Welding and a Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies followed by a one-year transition to a teaching program.
Caroline Rohrs, the daughter of Brooks and Amanda Rohrs, graduated from Antwerp High School. She plans to attend Bowling Green State University where she will major in Elementary Education.
Ava Stoller, the daughter of Ross and Joy Stoller, graduated from Wayne Trace High School. She plans to attend Wright State Lake Campus where she will major in Elementary Education.
