SAN ANTONIO, Sept. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — PayrollOrg (PAYO) will celebrate National Payroll Week (NPW), September 1–5, 2025. This annual event honors the hard work and dedication of America’s workers and the payroll professionals who ensure they are paid accurately and on time, every time. During NPW, PAYO offers scholarship opportunities, financial education to maximize paychecks, and the chance to win prizes including a bonus paycheck and money for gas and groceries.

A key focus of National Payroll Week is educating workers and young adults about how they’re paid. Each year, PAYO’s Money Matters program educates thousands of young adults on paycheck fundamentals. This year, PAYO and sponsor Chime Workplace will also award three scholarships to students pursuing continuing education at colleges, universities, and other institutions.
“Understanding how a paycheck works is one of the first steps toward building a strong financial foundation,” said Maddux. “Through the Money Matters program and its dedicated volunteers, we help young adults gain the essential knowledge they need to confidently manage their earnings and plan for the future.”
National Payroll Week also offers the chance for America’s workers to participate to win great prizes. PayrollOrg invites individuals to take the 2025 “Getting Paid In America” survey, available at nationalpayrollweek.com. The survey explores payroll and wage payment trends, and one participant will win the grand prize: a bonus paycheck and extra money for food and fuel through 2025.
