Peninsula Players Theatre has expanded its scholarship program for Door County high school seniors pursuing a major or minor in arts management, music or theater.
Beginning in 2025, the scholarship amount will increase to $1,000 per student, double the previous award. This spring, one student from each of Door County’s five high schools will be eligible to receive this scholarship.
To qualify, an applicant must plan to enroll as a full-time college or technical student with a major or minor in arts management, music (performance or education), or theater (acting, theater studies, theater technology or design).

Applications are due by April 1 and may be submitted to [email protected] or mailed to Peninsula Players Theatre Scholarship, c/o Door County Community Foundation, 222 N. 3rd Ave., Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, 54235.
Peninsula Players Theatre has a long-standing tradition of supporting education, dating back to its founding in the 1930s with an internship program that continues to this day.
