The Lawrence County Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association has awarded scholarships to four recent graduates of local high schools.
The awards of $1,000 each were presented at the chapter’s annual freshman sendoff picnic Aug. 5 at Pearson Park in Neshannock Township. This year’s scholarships were fully funded by Robert and Terri Price of Neshannock Township, parents of the late Victoria N. Price, a Penn State graduate. The Prices raised the funds with help from volunteers through the Victoria N. Price Scholarship Fund, established in her memory.
