The Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO) Chapter DD announced this year’s scholarships recipients. They are:
Megan Albion received an Oregon Scholarship. She is currently attending Oregon Institute of Technology and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
Kelly Ogden was awarded an Oregon Scholarship as she continues attending George Fox University to earn a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
The chapter is able to provide these scholarships through an annual berry sale. Each June members take orders for locally grown, flash-frozen blueberries and blackberries. Berries will be ready for pick up in August. To receive an order form, send an email request to [email protected]. The PEO chapter will also have a yard sale in June, along with a bunco and silent auction event in October.
