The Forrest City P.E.O Chapter BF recently awarded its annual Ann M. Horton Scholarship. Each year the chapter chooses one applicant to award $500 to be used for educational expenses. The P.E.O is a no- profit organization with the purpose of aiding in the education of women and to encourage women who are motivated to achieve their educational goals. This year’s receipent is Palestine-Wheatley graduate, Carly Todd. Todd, center, is presented with a check by chapter members Kelly Lewis Wall, left, and Lindsay Hodges.
