Scholarship season for incoming college freshman and current students is in full swing. Carl Sandburg College Dean of Enrollment Management Lisa Hanson reminds prospective students of the upcoming priority deadline:
“Sandburg has a general scholarship application, and it is wonderful. By completing one application, the student can be considered for more than $225,000 in scholarships that are awarded annually. It is a very easy application. I don’t really want to say there is an essay on it; there are a couple of paragraphs where we ask students to provide information to help us select applicants, it is very easy to complete. There is a priority deadline for our scholarship application of March 15th. We will go through those applications and award first, but we still accept applications through June 15th. I encourage students to get those applications in each year. You can apply for those scholarships at sandburg.edu/scholarships.”
Again, that priority deadline to submit scholarship applications to Sandburg is March 15th.
