Ten local high school graduates were awarded $500 scholarships from Procter & Gamble Co. on Friday, May 23, at the Cape Girardeau location.
To qualify for the P&G High School Engineering Scholarship, students must be in their senior year of high school, live within a 50-mile radius, have a 3.0 GPA or better and plan to attend an accredited, four-year university in pursuit of a degree in engineering. This year marks the third that P&G Cape Girardeau has presented the scholarships.
This year's recipients are Bode Conrad, Meadow Heights High School; Addison Craig, Notre Dame Regional High School; Elizabeth Douglas, Sikeston High School; Dru Eller, Jackson High School; Evan Holm, Jackson High School; Nathaniel McKown, Sikeston High School; Eli Nix, Chaffee High School; Jace Hennemann, Saxony Lutheran High School; Erin Spencer, Saxony Lutheran High School; and Conner Strickland, Jackson High School.
