On Monday, the Quad Cities Community Foundation announced its annual scholarship recipients — totaling a record-breaking $754,894 in awards.
This year, 79 scholarships were awarded to Quad-Cities area students thanks to donors to scholarship funds at the Community Foundation. More than half of these awards are renewable, giving recipients ongoing financial support throughout their academic careers. Scholarships were awarded to students of all educational paths, ranging from community colleges and four-year universities to trade and technical schools.
