BIRMINGHAM, Ala (WBMA) — Ramsay IB High School 2024 Valedictorian and Senior Class President, Jacari Dillard had a difficult decision to make.
Dillard was accepted into more than 25 colleges and universities – including Harvard, Yale, and Princeton.
Monday Dillard announced his decision.
"With that being said, I would like to reintroduce myself from Ramsay valedictorian to a Harvard man," he said.

Dillard's scholarship offers total $2.5 million.
He also garnered national attention as part of a Ramsay duo that produced an award-winning C-Span video.
