RATHDRUM — The results are in after the Queen Esther No. 12 Order of the Eastern Star’s car show May 3 to fundraise scholarships for seven local students. There were 60 entrants this year.
Over $2,000 in donated items were raffled off as part of the fundraiser.
Winners:
Best 1930 and older: Paul Brock, 1936 Ford Coupe                    
Best 1940s: Tom Dickerson, 1946 Ford Coupe                    
Best 1950s: Mike Miller, 1955 Ford Fairlain                     
Best 1960s: George Challus, 1967 Chevy Chevelle               
Best 1970s: Sjourke Bungen, 1972 Ford Mustang                 
Best 1980s:  Stacy Cartwright, 1982 Chevy C-10                  
Best 1990s and newer: Diane Walker, 2019 Dodge Charger                
Best Import: Frank Newlands, 1959 Austin Healey                   
Farthest driven to the show: Randy Strawn, 168 Miles from Waterville, Wash.       
Ladies’ choice:  Dave Harris, 1966 Ford Falcon
People’s choice: Sven Roaldson, 1974 Chevy Corvette                
Sponsor’s choice: John Stebbens, 1971 Chevy Camaro                  
WM and WP Choice: Don Audel, 1936 Roadster                            
Best of show: Paul Brock, 1936 Ford Coupe                    
Overall, the Order of the Eastern Star raised $500 scholarships for seven Kootenai County seniors.

Lakeland High School: Sarah Allen, Madison Blagden and Savannah Francis
Timberlake High School: Eliana Dirks and Marissa Needs
