The Stokes County Retired School Personnel recently named three scholarship winners for 2025.
Each year the local chapter of the North Carolina Retired School Personnelgives out three scholarships of $2,000 each to seniors from the high schools and the early college in Stokes County. These scholarships are made possible from the membership’s contributions to the fund. The purpose of the scholarships is to financially assist Stokes County High School graduates who will attend a college or university and who will seek a degree in some field of education.
