EXETER — RiverWoods Exeter Residents Charitable Funds Committee has awarded $2,500 scholarships to ten Great Bay Community College nursing students.
This is the eighth year the RiverWoods Exeter residents have supported Great Bay students in their educational pursuits. The goal of the scholarship is to open students’ minds about the rich variety of career opportunities at RiverWoods.
This year’s recipients are Molly Amundsen, Elizabeth Gardner, Miranda Green, Sarah Greenham, Olivia Groulx, Aggie Halliday, Emmy Lewis, Lydia Mercier, Kylie Sapochetti, and Milena Woods.
“We continue to be overwhelmed by the generosity of the RiverWoods Exeter Residents Charitable Funds Committee,” said Dulcinea Kaufman, chair of the Great Bay nursing department. “We have amazing students in our nursing program and these scholarships help support them so they can work a little less while carrying a heavy courseload and participating in community service.”
Students expressed thanks and gratitude to RiverWoods for supporting their education and helping them make their dreams come true.
“Having this scholarship means the opportunity to reduce my work hours and dedicate more time to my academic studies and responsibilities,” said Aggie Halliday. “I am immensely grateful to the RiverWoods community for their generous support of my educational pursuits.”
“Having this scholarship means being one step closer to my dreams,” said Milena Woods.
