Rockland Rotary awarded a total of $15,000 in scholarships to ten “well-deserving and highly qualified” Oceanside and Medomak Valley High School seniors prior to graduation in 2025. Three of the recipients attended Rockland Rotary’s meeting on Wednesday, June 4 and shared their future educational plans. Those recipients are Joshua Placides, Owen Post, and Reese Novicka.
Students receiving scholarships but unable to attend the Rockland Rotary meeting are Kayla Baines, Kelsey Payson, Gabe Lash, Hannah Hall, Aubrianna Hoose, Parker Darge, and Melissa Lavi.
“Rockland Rotary congratulates all these exceptional scholarship recipients and wish them much success in all their future endeavors,” said the Rotary, in a news release. “Rockland Rotary would like to thank all the Marcel Lacasse Memorial Golf Tournament sponsors, players, silent auction donors, and volunteers who made this annual Scholarship Fundraising Event so successful for local high school students.”
