The Roger Winkler Memorial Foundation gives back to the community through scholarships. Wilson County recipients have an opportunity to receive scholarships from $250 to $1,000 through community service, helping to keep our Texas highways clean during the year and volunteering at bingo events at Kosciusko Hall.
Jacob Stahl from La Vernia is the foundation’s 2024 $1,000 scholarship recipient and five other students received $500 scholarships.
