HENDERSON — The Rotary Club of Henderson recently awarded scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each to three students graduating from high schools in Vance County.
The recipients are Taylor Stancil and Tyler Edwards from Vance Charter School and Ava Wade from Crossroads Christian School.
Ava Wade is the daughter of Shannon and Kevin Wade of Henderson, and will be attending Campbell University in the fall.
Tyler Edwards is the son of Michelle and Christopher Joyner of Henderson, and will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Taylor Stancil is the daughter of Renee and Craig Stancil of Oxford, and will also be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
