The Rotary Club of Waynesboro is accepting scholarship applications for local students in Waynesboro and Augusta County.
Scholarships will be awarded at $1,000 each to eligible students who demonstrate community service and financial need.
The scholarship opportunity is open to adult students, high school seniors, college students (any year) and homeschool students. Students from the City of Waynesboro and the section of Augusta County served by Wilson Memorial or Stuarts Draft high school areas are eligible.
Applicants will be required to submit a one-page essay showing service above self, which should highlight the applicant’s community service and how it has impacted their life.

The deadline for applications is March 15. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
