Rotary District 7280 scholarships for students who reside in the district are now open for applications. The district consists of Western Pennsylvania chapters such as New Castle, Ellwood City, Greenville, Grove City, Hermitage, Mercer, Sharon, Slippery Rock, New Wilmington, Butler, Clarion, Bradford, Erie, and Cranberry.
Applications are due by Dec. 15.
Applicants must be in good standing in their sophomore, junior or senior year of college. The scholarship, which can be up to $5,000, is based upon the financial need, academic achievement, and community service activities of the applicant.
Applicants will need sponsorship of their local Rotary Club.
