Mumbai, November 25, 2024: RR Kabel has announced the winners of its Kabel Star Scholarship Program 2024 in Mumbai. The program, launched in 2022, aims to support the children of electricians who have completed their 10th-grade exams. This year, 42 students from Mumbai were among the 1,000 winners nationwide. The scholarship program, which allocates over ₹1 crore annually, provides financial aid of ₹10,000 to each winner to support their higher secondary education.
The Kabel Star Scholarship has grown in both scale and impact over the past three years, with more than 3,000 students receiving scholarships since its inception. The program was created in 2022 to empower the children of electricians, referred to as ‘Kabel Dost,’ and help them pursue their academic goals.
Kirti Kabra, Director of RR Global, emphasized the importance of the program, stating, "Our electricians, affectionately known as 'Kabel Dost,' have been an integral part of RR Kabel since its inception. We have always aimed to transcend business boundaries and make a meaningful impact on their lives. The RR Kabel Star Scholarship Program embodies our commitment to invest in the future of their children. We firmly believe that every deserving student should have the opportunity to pursue their dreams, regardless of their background or financial constraints. Through this program, we are unlocking the potential of bright students and encouraging them to recognize their talents. At RR Kabel, we're shaping a future where talent knows no boundaries, and every student's dreams can take flight."
The Kabel Star Scholarship Program aims to provide opportunities for students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, enabling them to further their education and pursue successful careers.
