JESSUP, Pa. — It’s the annual sauce and meatball competition hosted by the Family of Saint Ubaldo at the Jessup Hose Company in Lackawanna County.
There were a couple of celebrity judges in attendance, including our very own Newswatch 16’s Nikki Krize and Emily Kress!
Ron Augelli of Family of Saint Ubaldo says, “Everything’s going up in costs in the area, so the day gets more expensive. It helps us offset some costs as a nonprofit. We give out scholarships in the local community, and that’s what it’s about: raising money, giving it back to where we can, and get the support in return.”
There were 18 total entries from all over NEPA for this sauce and meatball competition.
