SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury Paramedic Foundation named the first recipients of the Captain Bryan Lewis Memorial Scholarship Fund on Monday.
Captain Lewis lost his cancer battle earlier this year after years of swerving the community as a firefighter and paramedic. The two students chosen, Vincent Esposito and MaryEllen Hocker, are enrolled in Wor-Wic’s paramedic or emergency medical services programs. The $1,000 scholarships are meant to carry on Captain Lewis’ lifesaving legacy.
