Ruby Jiles received a $1,000 scholarship from P.E.O. Chapter V at the recent Sandpoint High School scholarship night.
Each year the chapter selects one outstanding Sandpoint High School senior to receive its Chapter V Award Girl Scholarship. Jiles plans to attend North Idaho College and major in business or social work. Presenting the award was Mary Rogers, chairwoman of the Award Girl under Chapter V’s project committee. 
P.E.O. is an international philanthropic educational organization whose mission is to make financial assistance available through awards, grants, scholarships and loans to help women achieve their educational goals.
