MANALAPAN, NJ — July 28, 2025 — The recipients have been named for the 2025 scholarships awarded by the Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey (SBOANJ) and the Backstretch Community Assistance Program (BCAP).
This year’s recipients are Jaiden Gingras, attending Rider University; Ryley Fusco, attending University of North Carolina; Peyton Magie, attending Cairn University; Terri Morgan, attending Thomas Jefferson University; and Kyra Suleski, attending University of Tampa.
The scholarships were awarded based on academic excellence, community service, financial need, and affiliation with the New Jersey Standardbred industry. The total amount of the scholarships distributed was $10,000.
All the students that received scholarships from the SBOANJ and BCAP are enrolled in the upcoming fall semester.
The SBOANJ and BCAP congratulates the winners and their families and wishes them success in their future academic careers.
