MONROE, La. (KNOE) – Northeast Louisiana students have the opportunity to win up to $2,500 in scholarship funds.
The scholarship is open to high school and university students.
The Parker Alexander Scholarship program is accepting applications until April 11.
To apply, applicants must submit an original essay with a proposal to improve traffic safety or reduce traffic accidents in Northeast Louisiana.
The grand prize scholarship winner will receive $2,500 and the second prize winner will receive a $500 scholarship.
