Eleven $500 Scholarships are available to students grades 9-12, involved in theater, dance, music, or even culinary arts.
In addition, the $2,500 Audrey Lundeen scholarship is open to high school seniors who plan to continue having their art be part of their college experience.
Eligible applicants include students attending traditional, home school, or online programs.
So far, they’ve given over 60 thousand dollars to students dedicated to the arts.
The foundation’s president began this organization in honor of his mother.
“She supported me in my music endeavors over the years and got me my first guitar and always encouraged me and when she passed, I wanted to do something special to kind of pass it on, if you know, if you will. And so, we started this little organization called the Blue Bird Foundation.” said Tracy Lundeen, President of the Bluebird Foundation.
The scholarship winners will be recognized at the Christmas by the Lake Gala.
That’s their yearly concert event which is free to the public.
They will be selling Christmas albums with recordings from local and regional artists including a song by the late Todd Eckart.
Scholarship applications close November 25th, 2025 at 4pm.
