The wooden pews of Gettysburg’s oldest African American congregation were filled with voices and stories bridging centuries of faith, identity, and resilience earlier this month.
Over 70 people made their way into St. Paul’s AME Zion Church for a program titled “Town & Gown: Scholarship Meets Community at Gettysburg’s Historic Black Church.”
