The Frank Colalella Charitable Foundation Scholarship was awarded to three area seniors planning to further their education following graduation. The foundation plans to continue awarding scholarships on an annual basis. The $1,000 scholarship is awarded to honor the legacy of a local entrepreneur who believes there is good in everyone and understands that in life, we are all deserving of a second chance. This year, seniors from Catholic Central, Steubenville and Indian Creek high schools, were recognized for their contributions. The committee holds one fundraiser per year, with this year’s event being a golf outing on Sept. 12 at the Steubenville Country Club.
