The Amery Woman’s Club has two $1,000 scholarships available for women who are returning to college to complete or to begin their degrees. We have referred to them as nontraditional scholarships because they are for women who have completed their high school education.
This scholarship is based on financial need, as well as clearly defined goals, and an essay or letter describing how the woman’s education will improve her life and her community. It can be used for tuition, books, child care or transportation.
If you are someone or know of someone who lives or works in the Amery School District, is female and is in need of financial help to attend an accredited college, university, technical college or other accredited post-secondary training to complete an undergraduate program, I encourage you to apply. Applications and complete details about requirements are available on Amery Woman’s Club website, www.amerywomansclub.com. Completed applications must be mailed by July 8, 2025.
