DYERSBURG, Tenn. — Entrepreneurs seeking to grow their businesses now have scholarships available for a new business acceleration program in Northwest Tennessee thanks to grant funding from LaunchTN. Entrepreneurs are invited to apply for the Rural Business Accelerator – Roadmap To Success, being offered by The Mill Workspace. This deadline to apply is March 21, 2025.
Set to begin April 3, 2025, this 6-month program is designed to equip entrepreneurs with the tools, resources, and support necessary for sustainable growth. Chris Donaldson, CEO of The Mill Workspace, a nonprofit that supports entrepreneurs in Northwest Tennessee, will lead the program.
Donaldson said, “We couldn’t be more excited to be bringing our Rural Business Accelerator program to the Northwest TN region. This accelerator is going to help existing businesses scale with all the knowledge they gain from the program.”
To be eligible, businesses must be established and located in one of the following Northwest Tennessee counties: Benton, Carroll, Crockett, Dyer, Gibson, Henry, Lake, Obion, or Weakley.
Participants in the accelerator will receive comprehensive support, expert mentorship, and valuable networking opportunities. Each participant will begin by conducting a thorough evaluation of their business operations to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Other sessions will address how to connect one’s vision to their bottom line, as well as providing ongoing training and guidance from a business coach. Participants will have access to comprehensive reports detailing their business’s progress throughout the program.
