YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown Business & Professional Women Centennial Scholarship Fund announced that scholarships are available for female students enrolled at any accredited college, university or qualifying trade school in Trumbull, Mahoning and Mercer counties.
The YBPW Centennial Scholarship Fund will provide two $2,000 scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year. Recipients are selected based on essays, references and the impact the student can make in the Mahoning Valley. Applications are available HERE.
“We are so very grateful for the generosity of the donors to the YBPW Centennial Scholarship Fund and look forward to providing an increasing number of scholarships as the fund continues to grow,” said Lisa Dickson, president of the YBPW Centennial
Scholarship Fund Board of Directors. “Our goal is to assist as many female students as we can. By empowering women through education, it is our hope to ignite future women leaders in our community that will contribute to the growth of the Mahoning Valley.”
The YBPW Centennial Scholarship Fund is an independent 501(c)(3) foundation established by the Youngstown Business & Professional Women’s Club. Its goal is to provide advancement and empowerment to the future professional women of the Valley through educational opportunities by providing scholarships to qualifying individuals.
