(2-17-25) The University Women’s Club of Mercer County is announcing its annual awarding of scholarship monies for females of Mercer County for 2025, $10,000 total awards.
Four $1,500 University Women’s Scholarship grants are available for qualified high school women of Mercer County. Women planning to continue their education at a fully accredited college or university in pursuit of any baccalaureate degree or an Education teaching degree for the Evelyn Meyer’s award may make application by contacting their high school counselor applying through the Mercer County Civic Foundation website https://mercercountycivicfdn.org/
In addition, there will be two $1,500 University Women’s Scholarship Grants made to a Mercer County female student who will be a junior or senior pursuing a four year college degree. This application also, may be found on the Mercer County Civic Foundation website https://mercercountycivicfdn.org/
A new $1,000 scholarship has been named for a Mercer County high school woman planning to pursue a 2 year associate degree. Apply here: https://mercercountycivicfdn.org/ As per our practice in the past, we will be awarding money to those women who meet our standards of academic achievement, scholarship, citizenship, leadership, and financial need. Current grade transcripts required with application submission.
Deadline for all applications is March 20 through the Mercer County Civic Foundation Online website.
