2024-2025 Rhoden Fellowship
The Fellows serve as on-campus correspondents and are expected to produce multimedia content for Andscape including the latest news and coverage from various events such as the Big East men’s and women’s basketball tournament, Celebration Bowl, NCAA Final Four (men’s and women’s), NFL Draft and more. Closes Oct. 4.
2024-2025 Black Winemakers Scholarship
The Black Winemakers Scholarship Program is a merit-based scholarship to support full-time, African American, juniors, seniors or graduate students (MS and/or Ph.D.) attending any U.S. accredited, four-year or graduate college or university during the Fall of 2024. Closes Oct. 7.
2024-2025 George Floyd Peace & Justice Memorial Scholarship
The George Floyd Peace & Justice Memorial Scholarship is open to African American/Black graduating seniors who attend a UNCF member institution or other Historical Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU). Closes Oct. 9.
2024-2025 Frederick Douglass Bicentennial Scholarship
The Frederick Douglass Bicentennial Scholarship Program awards two (2) $10,000 scholarships each year to exceptional HBCU seniors (one female and one male) who have demonstrated high academic achievement, strong leadership skills, commitment to community service and unmet financial need. Closes Oct. 14.
2024-2025 Bryant X. Phelps Endowed Scholarship Program
The Bryant X. Phelps Endowed Scholarship Program was established to provide a need-based scholarship program to support Black students from Texas. Closes Oct. 14.
2024-2025 Jolley Foundation Scholarship Program
The Jolley Foundation Scholarship Program will provide scholarships to students of UNCF Member Colleges in South Carolina. Closes Oct. 14.
2024-2025 EA Madden Scholarship Program
The EA Madden Scholarship Program is a scholarship and professional development program that supports educational growth and career development training. Closes Oct. 15.
2024-2025 Papa John’s Scholarship
The Papa John’s Foundation Scholarship is available to undergraduate students who are enrolled full-time at a U.S. located, accredited four-year institution; during the 2024-2025 academic year. Candidates for this scholarship must be majoring or have an academic focus in one of the following disciplines: entrepreneurship, small business management, or franchising. Closes Oct. 16.
2024-2025 Dr. Evan H. and Mary Goold Appelman Scholarship
The Dr. Evan H. and Mary Goold Appelman Scholarship was established to support graduating high school seniors who have been admitted to any accredited four-year college or university. Closes Oct. 17.
2024-2025 Adidas Black and LatinX Community Scholarship Program (Phase 2)
The adidas Black and LatinX Community Scholarship Program is a postsecondary scholarship designed to meet the unmet financial need of underrepresented African American/Black and Latinx students interested in enrolling full-time at traditional and non-traditional postsecondary schools. Closes Oct. 21.
2024-2025 John W. Ruffin Endowed Scholarship
UNCF, in conjunction with The John W. Ruffin Family, will be making scholarship awards for undergraduate or graduate full-time students attending Florida Memorial University (FMU) or Nova Southeastern University’s H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship. Closes Oct. 21.
2024-2025 WE Communications Scholarship
The WE Communications Scholarship is a need-based program that will fund students who are permanent residents of the states of Washington & Oregon who are enrolled in an accredited HBCU during the 2024-2025 school year; eligible candidates must be interested in pursing a career in Communications. Closes Oct. 21.
2024-2025 UNCF/City of Miramar Scholarship
The City of Miramar Scholarship Program will provide a one-time, need-based scholarship to one (1) student, who is a recent high school graduate from each of the following high schools: Everglades High School, Miramar High School, and Somerset Academy. Closes Oct. 21.
2024-2025 The Ruby L. Bailey Scholarship
The Ruby L. Bailey Scholarship has been created to provide one (1) need-based scholarship of $3,000.00 to a Black student who is currently attending an HBCU. $2,000.00 will be paid for the Fall/Spring and $1,000.00 will be paid for Summer classes or the next Fall semester. Closes Oct. 21.
2024-2025 Synovus Bank/Calvin Smyre Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship opportunity was developed to provide African American college students studying banking or financial services with a $4,500 need-based scholarship in their sophomore year, which may be renewed in the junior and senior years. Selected recipients’ contact information will be shared with the scholarship grantor. Priority consideration will be granted to applicants attending an HBCU. Closes Oct. 28.
2024-2025 Eunice Walker Johnson Scholarship
The Eunice Walker Johnson Endowed Scholarship Fund was developed to award need-based scholarships of up to $5,000 each to undergraduate students attending Selma University or a UNCF Member Institution. Closes Oct. 28.
2024-2025 UNCF Princeton Committee Scholarship
The Princeton Committee in partnership with UNCF is providing six (6) need-based scholarships to students enrolled full-time at any UNCF member institution or other Historically Black College or University (HBCU). Open ONLY to permanent residents of the state of New Jersey who are from one of the following counties: Mercer, Middlesex, or Somerset. Closes Oct. 31.
2024-2025 The Angela and Reginald Goins Endowed Scholarship
The Angela and Reginald Goins Endowed Scholarship is a need-based scholarship for full-time, undergraduate students attending a four-year HBCU. Eligible students must reside in or be a permanent resident of New York City, Chicago, or metro Detroit (Michigan Counties of Lapeer, Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, St. Clair, or Wayne.) Closes Oct. 31.
2025-2026 Fidelity Scholars Program
The Fidelity Scholars Program is unique as it provides access to coaches and mentors, financial education and mental health and wellness resources, in addition to a generous last-dollar scholarship. With a focus on access to higher education and ongoing support for historically underserved and underrepresented students, the Fidelity Scholars Program can help you prepare to become the next generation of professionals whose career achievements will allow you to positively impact your lifetime earnings and build generational wealth.
