Applications are now open for the 2025 Agriculture Student Scholarship, jointly offered by Canada and Saskatchewan. This program offers four scholarships: one grand prize valued at $6,000 and three runner-up awards of $3,000 each.
The theme for this year is solutions to challenges in agriculture. Students are encouraged to present innovative ideas, explore advanced farming technologies, and find creative ways for the agricultural sector to engage with the public. Applicants are asked to share their unique perspectives on the future of agriculture in Saskatchewan.
Eligible students can participate by submitting either a 3-minute video or a 1,000-word essay discussing their solutions to agricultural challenges. The scholarship is open to Saskatchewan students in Grade 12 and recent high school or GED graduates planning to pursue post-secondary studies in agriculture in the fall of 2025.
Applications close on March 1, 2025. Additional details can be found on the Agriculture Student Scholarship Program’s website.
