Twenty-seven graduating seniors from Santa Ynez Valley Union High School received a scholarship from the Santa Ynez Valley Foundation for their academic excellence, resilience, and community involvement.
The Santa Ynez Valley Foundation has awarded scholarships to 27 graduating seniors from Santa Ynez Valley Union High School, recognizing their academic excellence, resilience, and community involvement.
These scholarships are part of a broader initiative that will distribute a record $85,000 to 50 students this year, including upcoming awards to three Dunn School students and 20 second-year college students continuing their education with distinction.
The 2025 scholarship recipients from Santa Ynez Valley Union High School are:
Additionally, the David & Jan Crosby Scholarship was awarded to Naomi Ferguson and Alison Willis, while the Walter Hanson Scholarship went to Kimberly Medina and Chloe Ann Perez.
The mission of the Santa Ynez Valley Foundation’s scholarship program is to empower ambitious college-bound students, nurturing future change-makers and contributing to the overall advancement of the community.
