SHAMOKIN — Artisan Alley is honored to have presented this year’s Artisan Alley’s Joshua Lahr Legacy Scholarship to Jasmine Bodiford. Now in its third year, the scholarship was established to support local students pursuing higher education.
Jasmine, a 2025 graduate of Shamokin Area Middle/High School, exemplifies the spirit of the scholarship. Throughout her high school years, she participated in many music organizations such as Williamsport Symphony Youth Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Shamokin Area High School music department, modern band, school musical, art club and even formed her own band. She also played with Shamokin’s community band, performed with her own band on the Artisan Alley stage and shared her creativity as a vendor in the Artisan Wares gift shop.
