SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -South Dakota State University and the University of South Dakota have opted into the House vs NCAA settlement.
Starting on July 1st, schools can award more scholarships across all sports, thanks to new roster cap rules.
For example, football teams can now give scholarships to all 105 rostered players, up from the previous cap of 65.
Officials said this move enhances student-athlete support and opens the door to future revenue sharing.
