EXETER — The Seacoast Artist Association has awarded ten 2025 art scholarships to high school seniors continuing with their art studies at either a two or four year college or university. For the last 37 years, the scholarship committee has worked with local public high school teachers and guidance counselors who choose a talented senior from each school. Each student needs to show strong artist work. This is a competitive scholarship, but the winner is chosen by the High School’s Scholarship team, not Seacoast Artist Association. Applicants need to present a completed application, an artist statement including reason for wanting to study visual art, a portfolio of work, letter of recommendation and proof of acceptance in a two- or four-year visual arts program.  This year the Seacoast Artist Association is providing scholarships to 10 students.
