The GFWC Oak View Women’s Club awarded three scholarships to local high school seniors at its May 21 meeting.
The Judy and Ben Lary Celebration of Life Continuing Education Scholarship was presented to Abbey Smith, who will be attending Oxnard College to become a dental hygienist.
The winner of the Ventura County Community Foundation Scholarship established by the club was Madden Miles, who will be continuing her education at CSUCI for nursing.
The GFWC Oak View Women’s Club Scholarship winner was Jazmine Kaiwai, a Nordhoff High School senior. Kaiwai will be attending UCLA.
