Elk County Catholic High School’s Class of 2024 were awarded numerous scholarships through the Elk County Community Foundation.
Members of St. Marys Area High School Class of 2024 received a large variety of scholarships through the Elk County Community Foundation.

Members of St. Marys Area High School Class of 2024 received a large variety of scholarships through the Elk County Community Foundation.
ST. MARYS – Recently, the Elk County Community Foundation (ECCF) presented a variety of scholarships to local high school seniors within Elk County.
Among the scholarships earned by seniors from Elk County Catholic and St. Marys Area High School are the following:
Those receiving the Helene Bowley Memorial Scholarship were:
From ECC: Sophia Bille, Kara Chicola, Kiri Emmert, Megan Emmert, Lucy Klawuhn, Isabella Macer, Grace Neubert, Tori Newton, Katherine Petrosky and Samantha Straub, each receiving $500.
From SMA: Maura Caskey, Ava Johnson, Dawson Krug, Rylee Nicklas, each receiving $1,240.
From JAHS: Cadence Brechtel, Maria Casilio, Eric Hoffman, and Luke Zimmerman, each receiving $990.
From RAHS: Gabrielle Amacher, Evan Gustafson, Brady Heindl, Madison Hrusth, Jenna Kasmierski, Jackson Kilpeck, and Savannah Kite, each receiving $710.
Students receiving a $500 SGL Carbon LLC Scholarship were Gracee Breindel and Noah Cherry from ECCHS, and Mayson Annis and Levi Solada from SMAHS.
The Jerry Troha Music Scholarship for $250 was awarded to Jillian Kline from SMAHS and Andrew Seltzer of ECCHS.
The Randy Yetzer Memorial Scholarship for $500 was awarded to Jack Beyer from SMAHS and Kiley Pesce from ECCHS.
The Hailey Matheson Memorial Scholarship for $500 was awarded to Alexis Wendel from SMAHS and Joseph Kearney of RAHS.
SMAHS seniors Clara Heary, Lola Larkin and Maddy Wittman, each received a $500 scholarship as part of the Kathy Lepovetsky Memorial Scholarship.
The Nicholas J. Sinibaldi Music Scholarship for $940 was awarded to Dean Rakieski from SMAHS and Rachael Wolfe from ECCHS.
The David Larkin Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Raegan Weaver from ECCHS, for $500.
The Donna Elizabeth Walker Munz Memorial Scholarship for $500 was awarded to Grace Neubert from ECCHS.
The Corporal Adam M. Wolfel Memorial Scholarship for $750 was awarded to Daniel Schutz from SMAHS.
