OKLAHOMA (KXII) – Several Texoma high schools were recognized among the ‘Oklahoma’s Promise’ 2023 scholarship state champions.
‘Oklahoma’s Promise’ is a program that gives students who excel in the classroom the opportunity to earn a scholarship that covers tuition at any state school.
Of the seven winners announced by the Oklahoma State Reagents for Higher Education, Boswell was named the class B champion with 13 ‘OK Promise’ graduates.
Coalgate was the class 2A runner-up with 21 ‘OK Promise’ graduates, and Atoka was the class 3A runner-up with 28 ‘OK Promise’ graduates.
